Marsh Creek Farm Profile

We began raising Appaloosas in 1990 at our previous home in Forest Lake, Minnesota where we crossed our mares on local stallions. In order to further enhance our breeding program we purchased our stallion State Of The Art, a.k.a. "Conan", in 1995.  He was shown for his first three years of life (weanling/yearling/2-year-old) compiling an impressive show record.  "Conan" is now being well represented in the show ring by his winning foals.

As the number of our horses increased we were forced to find a larger facility with more acreage.  We found what we were looking for in Roberts, Wisconsin and moved there in the fall of 1997.  It was a return home for both of us as we are both original "Cheeseheads".

We have had winners from every foal crop that include Weanling, Yearling, Western Pleasure and Longe Line Futurities  - as well as in ApHC  classes including Hunter in Hand, Western Pleasure, Trail and Youth.

The State Of The Art's are proving themselves as the versatile horse for both Youth and Non-Pro, as well as all around horses in the show ring.  But to top it off, they have personalities people are absolutely loving….  We hope his best years are still to come.
